These pictures were shared with me yesterday, how beautiful.  After hearing of Kayla Meeker’s passing, the Whitmer Girl’s Softball team decided they wanted to honor her memory.  Knowing how much she loved the sport and how fierce of a competitor Kayla was, the Lady Panthers created a shirt in her memory.

From Mark Hughes: “They decided as a group to order them & to wear around. They decided on the AW blue color & put her number on the sleeve then put their own individual number on it as well. From what I understand, Whitmer was one of the last teams they played prior to her passing.”

I am so incredibly proud to be a Whitmer alum.  The biggest school has an even bigger heart.  Way to go Ladies!
